UNDP REPORT: ARAB DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES 2011

For those interested in the MENA (Middle East & Northern Africa), here's some excerpts from the UN's Development Team (UNDP). The report is titled:

Essentially, the authors are seeking to transform the region economically, eliminate poverty and increase employment levels. Their recommendations are blunt and to the point: "Taxation Without Representation", particularly in countries with enormous natural resource wealth, causes structural deformities in their economies.
