Good article but the deal to share common oil fields between the two countries was reached months ago. so the actual maping out of the field is a formality. However it was one of KU issues with Iraq for the release of CH7. The tensions between the two have eased but kuwait holds issue with the missing files(bodies) and property from the war acording to UN's ki-moon. However this weeks UN meetings on Iraq with respect to chapter 7 will be interesting to see if Iraq gets out.

ReplyDeleteRead the quote again...it says 23,000 (THOUSAND) billion, NOT 23 billion.

That's 23,000 billion, i.e. 23 quadrillion IQD.
